In 1985 Winston ‘Mad Dog’ McAllister left his native Scotland to seek fame & fortune. After countless adventures and several brushes with death and disaster he eventually arrived in Hong Kong, one of the jewels in Queen Victoria’s crown. Here, within a cluster of Chinese opium dens, gun runners and Indian carpet sellers, he established a Scottish ale house called, appropriately enough. ‘Mad Dogs’.

Through revolutions, wars and financial upheavals the public house flourished and opened additional branches in Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula.

Now ‘Mad Dogs’ has arrived on American shores and welcomes all to a unique eating, drinking and entertainment experience in San Antonio.

Sit back & enjoy the subtle mysteries of the brewers’ and distillers’ art and some genuine British hospitality.

If you seek great beers, hearty food, live sports, nightly entertainment wrapped in delicious helpings of fun… then look no further.
